— Ehren Hanson, Founder, viewcy.comWe hired Signal Fluid to develop the Viewcy Check-In app for iOS and Android, and they exceeded all expectations. Benji and the team at Signal Fluid are true artists. With just a simple one-page spec and some mock-ups, they turned around a fully functioning app and got it released in the App Store with minimal feedback needed.
Beyond that, they optimized the app for speed in ways we hadn't even considered. They added interactions and haptics that elevated the experience beyond what we had asked for. It's clear that their passion drives them to produce exceptional work—going above and beyond because they genuinely care about the result.
Having been in this business for 20 years, working with engineers and developers across the globe, I've never encountered a dev shop outside our core team that brought this level of thoughtfulness and care to a project. I highly recommend them.

Viewcy runs an international event and ticketing platform for global music and cultural events. Their organizers needed a fast, reliable way to check in guests, from intimate gatherings to crowds of thousands, on everything from the latest iPhone to budget Androids.
The spec was simple: make check-in effortless. In practice: perform on budget hardware, handle edge cases without breaking flow, be the difference between a smooth door and a line backing into the street.
The original spec suggested alignment brackets on the camera view. I thought about the actual experience and advised on a different approach. We engineered the scanner to detect and process the code instantly, anywhere in the frame. No alignment, no waiting. Point the camera in the general direction and you're done.
Before building, I researched the check-in flow at Viewcy's events. What happens if someone tries to check in for the wrong event? What if the ticket has already been scanned? The app catches these scenarios with clear feedback, no confusion at the door.
Speed was a priority throughout. We added haptic feedback so organizers feel each successful check-in without looking at the screen. The app stays snappy even on older hardware.
“I don't know how you got the guest list to load so quickly. It's way faster than what we have.”
Viewcy, testing with 1,600 guests
Authentication covers the full range: Sign in with Apple, Google OAuth, and email/password. When the app was ready, I shepherded it through both App Store and Play Store submission.
The result: an app that got released with minimal feedback, runs smoothly across both platforms, and does the one thing it needs to do. Get people through the door.
